Classical osteopathy considers both soft tissue (fascia, muscles, tendons) and hard tissues (bones, ligaments), while also paying attention to the nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatics in the area, and also has consideration for what is happening on the visceral level. With a knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics, osteopaths use just their hands to figure out what isn't functioning normally, and then use gentle manipulations to get the body back into alignment so that it can self heal and regulate.

Nathalie is an enthusiastic teacher of the Alexander Technique and enjoys sharing the benefits of her training with her students. It was in 1995 while working in the UK that she first heard of the Alexander Technique. Several years after her return to France, she was drawn to it through horseback riding. She came to recognize how a better use of herself could make a huge difference not only for the own riding experience and that of her horse, but also in all the other activities that she engaged in, including her work. As she started learning the Alexander Technique with Johanne Benoit in 2011 just after arriving in Canada, her strong interest developed into a passion. She left Montreal in 2016 in order to join the teachers’ training course of Elaine Kopman at the Toronto School of the Alexander Technique. 2019 was the year when she graduated as a teacher and became a Canadian citizen. She is currently continuing her education in the postgraduate training program of Elaine Kopman, as the Alexander Technique is such a strong driver in all the other aspects of her life.
